This very popular itinerary features the great diversity found in Kenya & Tanzania and visits most of its most popular parks.

DAY 1
Whenever you arrive you'll be personally met and privately transferred to Nairobi 's Intercontinental Hotel. If you arrive early, sightseeing of Nairobi 's attractions can be organized for you. [no meals]

DAY 2 & 3 - TSAVO NATIONAL PARKS.
In the morning depart for Tsavo National park , Kenyan's largest, with its hundreds of extinct volcanic cones, famous red elephants, and herds of antelope, zebra and giraffe. During your two exceptional days here you'll be able to visit Mzima Springs, where 50 million gallons of fresh water flow daily in underground rivers from Mt. Kilimanjaro over a lava rock oasis, forming pools inhabited by hippo and crocodile. In Tsavo you'll stay at the famous Kilaguni Lodge , known for its water hole which attracts big game and spectacular birds. DAY 4 & 5 - AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
Cross the mysterious Shetani lava flow, only some 200 years old, and drive into Amboseli National Park . Snow-capped Kilimanjaro, at 19,340 feet, sits at the rooftop of Africa and majestically dominates the landscape. Springs fed by Kilimanjaro provide water and green grass for wildlife throughout the year. Enjoy two long and one shorter game drive in this land where elephants sometimes travel in herds of over 200 individuals, and where lion and cheetah patrol the marshland, lakes and thorn bush plains for large numbers of zebra, impala, gazelle and other antelopes. Meals and overnights at lovely Amboseli Serena Lodge. DAY 6 - ARUSHA.
Game view out of Amboseli this morning and cross into Tanzania at the colorful border post of Namanga. Continue a scenic drive into Tanzania 's northern most town for lunch at a popular local restaurant followed by time for shopping and independent sightseeing. Overnight at the Arusha Coffee Lodge, a lovely boutique resort situated adjacent a coffee plantation. DAY 7 - ARUSHA, LAKE MANYARA, NGORONGORO.
After breakfast drive over the Maasai Plains into Lake Manyara National Park .  Midday game drive in Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic. The park is famous for its lions-in-the tree, but you can expect to see much more, including elephant, impala, zebra and giraffe! In the afternoon proceed into Africa 's “Garden of Eden” for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. DAY 8 - NGORONGORO
Dawn game drive in the crater. Recent research has shown that the crater has the densest population of lion in Africa and this is the best time of the day to see them, especially following their hunts which occur mostly at night. There are usually 20,000 resident animals in the crater, a spectacularly beautiful volcanic caldera that is 100 sq. miles large. Return to the lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon you can relax in these beautiful surroundings or visit a nearby Maasai village. DAY 9 & 10 - SERENGETI
Drive into the Serengeti, Africa 's Grande Dame Game Park , with a stop en route at Olduvai Gorge where so many precious finds of early man were found. Game view through the morning among what is sometimes the greatest congregation of animals found on earth. Lunch at Serengeti Sopa Lodge followed by further game viewing. On the final day of safari you have all day to explore this great natural wonder. There should be times to visit sacred Maasai sites in addition to fantastic game viewing. [all meals]

DAY 11 - SERENGETI, NAIROBI, AIRPORT.
Game view this morning to the nearest airstrip for your final series of flights which returns you to Nairobi by mid afternoon. We'll meet you and take you back to the Intercontinental Hotel where your room is available until you are transferred to the airport later tonight to being your journey home.
